As much as I like editorial-styled photography for high school seniors and brands, I adore the lifestyle vibes of family pictures. The beauty of those small candid moments is underestimated and is being lost by our chase for perfection. I always make sure to provide several traditional family photographs, but let's remember that in-betweens are sacred too.

YOUR FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY TIMELINE
Pre-photoshoot consultation
First, I will meet with you (preferably in person) to develop a vision of what we are creating together.
You will receive a list of questions to think about prior to the meeting.
We'll develop your session plan together, including outfits, location, suggested activities (impromptu or staged), etc.

The Shoot
In order to get authentic pictures, let's come up with ideas for your favorite family activity. For instance, in nature, you enjoy searching for a herbarium. At home, it can be gardening or cooking together. I'll be quietly following you with a camera. Once in 15 minutes, I will bring you together for family traditional pictures. I will be there for you to capture the right moment and help with location and posing when needed.

Online Proofing
Approximately 7-10 days after your session, all of the images from your session will be available in a protected online gallery. Please, take up to a week to make the choice of pics for final retouching.

Editing + Retouching
Unfortunately, there is no magic wand for editing. Give me about two weeks for making sure that every detail on your picture looks stunning. My editing style is refined yet natural. No blurred skin, burned-out colors, or fake sunlight. I promise!

FAQs
It would be nice to have your beautiful pictures in my portfolio, but I definitely respect your decision. Your privacy is your essential right and I quarantee it from my side.
Of course, pets are members of our family! However, I would encourage you to consider the following: if you have little kids, it will be difficult to not get them distracted by pets. Unfortunately, children and pets are not so much interested in photography. Pets might be nervous or willing to run. Unless you have an adult who sometimes can help with the pets or it is a home set photoshoot, our session may turn into a challenge.
